Assessment Journey
I am a heart-centered therapist that believes that there is not a one size fits all approach to helping youth. From that belief, I created a setting and a style of support that is strength-based, kinesthetic, and engaging. Equine/Animal Assisted Therapy can help youth build confidence, self-efficiency, communication, trust, perspective, social skills, impulse control, and learn boundaries.
Equine Assisted Therapies can easily adapt Cognitive Therapy as well as play and talk therapy. Depending on the nature of the challenges, the Equine therapist is able to make decisions about the processes or techniques applied in the sessions. Main techniques used are Cognitive Therapy, practicing activities, play therapy, and talk therapy.

One-on-one coaching with a personalized curriculum that develops self-awareness, confidence, and critical thinking skills to prepare teens for fulfilling, purpose-driven futures.
We introduce teens to concepts, ideas, and technologies that are transforming the way we live, learn and work. Then we have them consider how their unique strengths and interests fit into that future. They explore disruptive technologies and topics from AI to Cryptocurrency to Gene Editing and imagine the challenges and opportunities that may arise. In doing so they learn about themselves, they learn about where the world is headed, and the critical thinking skills that they’ll need to be a leader and find success in any career they choose.
There are no tests, no memorization, and no stress. Our students learn through curiosity, problem-solving and creative thinking. Our students end up better prepared for college, and for a career, with less anxiety and more confidence.
